一、開場

Well begun is half done.要給考官留下良好的第一印象，考生必須精心打造適合自己的開場白。以下有兩種常見的開場表達，考生可以加以練習。

動之以情開場：Good morning， dear professors. After years of dreaming about the opportunity and possibilities of studying in XXX University， it feels so great that I am finally here and have this interview. My name is XXX…

簡單版：Good morning， my dear professors， it’s my great honor to be here and have this interview. My name is XXX…

二、自我介紹

要求簡潔、有新意，能夠讓考官記住你。最重要的是，發音要準，不要太快，以別人聽懂為目的。但注意一定要聽考官的指示語，聽到考官說“Can you introduce yourself briefly/ say something about yourself”后再開始。

自我介紹的主體內容：

1.姓名。介紹自己姓名時，發音一定要準（南方考生要多加注意）。

2.年齡。年齡可以跟在姓名后帶過（I am XXX， 25 years old）。

3.原來的院校、專業。注意：一定要把原來學校的英文名稱、專業的英文名稱弄清楚（尤其是跨校、跨專業的學生）。

所屬的公司、職位。在職考生則應將自己公司、自己職位/職稱的英文名稱弄明白。

4.性格、能力，愛好等?？梢灾貜娬{你的個性對你報考的專業有何積極的作用。如果報考的是學術型的專業，可以說自己細心（carefully，detail-oriented）、條理分明（logical）、踏實（steady）等；如果是應用性更強一點的專業，可以說自己負責（responsible）、可靠（dependable）、有效率（efficient）等。

三、考研原因

英語口語測試經常問的問題是考研原因，通常可以從以下三個方面來回答。

1.興趣，即強調對所報考的專業懷有極大的興趣（have significant interest in…）。如果本科就讀的專業與報考的專業一致，則可以說明想繼續深造（further education）的愿望。如果不一致，則要說明報考專業對你的吸引力（…appeals to/attracts me a lot）。

2.優勢，即強調研究生相對于本科生在知識、學術方面的優勢。如：知識面更廣（wider knowledge）、學術更專業（more professional）、眼界更廣闊等（broaden one's horizon）。

3.規劃，即強調考研對你的未來的積極影響（have a positive effect on…），可以從求職、職業規劃、人生經歷等方面入手進行說明?？蓞⒖嫉脑~匯、短語如下：be helpful， contribute to， be beneficial to， be conductive to， be a definite advantage， become a strong point when it comes to…等。

對于在職考生或有工作經驗的考生來說，考官更傾向于提問他們為什么（放棄工作而）重新學習。考生可以直言在工作中發現某些知識或技能很重要，希望能通過學習在這些方面進行提高（In my work， I found…is rather important. I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. So I choose to go back to school and improve myself）。

四、深入了解的話題

1.What is your greatest strength？（你最突出的優點是什么？）

這是很多面試考官喜歡問的一個問題。

這是你展示自己的最佳機會，不要吹噓自己或過于自負，但要讓考官知道你相信自己，你知道自己的優點。

參考回復：I think my biggest advantage is the ability to stick to the job done. When a project turns out just as I'd planned， I feel a real sense of accomplishment. I've set some high goals.
